I came up with going to

(Lunch) (Kuonji Temple visit)
Minobu 17:03 -- 18:15 Fuji
Fuji 18:31 -- 19:13 Atami
Atami 19:27 -- 19:32 Yugawara
(Dinner) (Onsen)
Yugawara 21:45 -- 22:41 Ofuna
Ofuna 22:45 -- 23:32 Shinjuku

| Had yuba set for lunch |
 |
| Sammon (三門) |
 |
| Cedar trees between Sammon and Bodaitei |
 |
| Bodaitei (菩提梯) |
 |
| Main Hall (本堂) |
 |
| Memorial Hall for Founder (祖師堂) |
 |
| Garden of Visitor's Hall |
 |
| Writer's Room with the slogan, "Save Country with Right Teaching" |
 |
| Five-story pagoda |
 |
| Grave of St. Nichiren (日蓮聖人) |
In the treasure hall, I observed so many well known historical figures including Emperors had transcribed Lotus Sutra (法華経), which is believed the supreme teaching of Buddha, believing the transcription itself provides ultimate merits.
|
I also transcribed an excerpt from Lotus Sutra |
After visiting the temple, I moved to Yugawara to have dinner and onsen
here. But the restaurant was full. I had to have dinner outside. With
a map of tan-tan fried noodle, I tried to find a tan-tan noodle restaurant. But one was just closed because of food shortage, another was not open regardless of the written operation hour. The last one I visited is just closed because it's Sunday.
I had very bad feeling. I thought they are not eager at all to make this town famous by the noodle.
Finally I had a normal noodle.

After all, I had to take onsen in just 40 minutes.
Thanks for this. I am planning to go the same way tomorrow. Your entry is very useful. Let's hope the typhoon isn't too strong!
